Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TempoPro handles information related to the app and website. TempoPro is designed to help digital piano and MIDI keyboard users practice while collecting as little personal information as possible.

Data We Do Not Collect
TempoPro does not collect personal data for advertising, cross-app tracking, or cross-site tracking. We do not sell user data and we do not use third-party advertising SDKs.
TempoPro does not require an account for its core practice features. We do not intentionally collect names, phone numbers, contacts, precise location, photos, or microphone recordings.
Practice Data and MIDI Data
TempoPro stores user-created or app-generated practice data locally on the device, such as metronome settings, practice records, piece structure, section practice information, and MIDI performance data.
MIDI performance data may include notes, velocity, note duration, pedal events, and timing information. This data is used in the app for playback, visual review, and practice analysis.
MIDI data is not a microphone audio recording. TempoPro processes performance events sent by connected MIDI devices.
iCloud Sync
If the user enables iCloud sync, practice data is synced between the user's own devices through Apple iCloud.
iCloud data is handled by Apple under Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy. TempoPro does not sell iCloud practice data to third parties or use it for advertising tracking.
Device Permissions
TempoPro may need access to MIDI devices so it can receive MIDI events from a keyboard or controller and provide recording, playback, and review features.
On macOS, TempoPro may store the user's selected audio output device or channel settings so the same playback setup can be used in future practice sessions.
Diagnostics
If the user has chosen to share diagnostics with developers in system settings, Apple may provide crash logs or performance diagnostics. This information is used only to diagnose issues, improve stability, and improve product quality.
TempoPro does not use diagnostic information for advertising or user profiling.
Information Provided When Contacting Support
If a user contacts us through the App Store support link or another support channel, we may process the information the user provides, such as the issue description, device model, system version, or contact details.
This information is used only to respond to support requests, troubleshoot issues, and improve the service.
Children's Privacy
TempoPro does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us through the support link on the App Store page and we will handle the request as required by applicable law.
Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy when product features or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new update date.
